Job Description

This is a remote position.

Eminence Home Care is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Specialist to support our administrative and clinical operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining patient, caregiver, and billing data in compliance with healthcare regulations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate records, timely reporting, and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and update patient, caregiver, and service records into company databases and systems

• Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency

• Maintain confidential medical and personal information in compliance with HIPAA regulations

• Process intake forms, timesheets, billing, and documentation

• Review and correct data discrepancies or errors promptly

• Generate reports as required by management or regulatory bodies

• Organize and maintain electronic and physical records

• Collaborate with administrative, billing, and care coordination teams

• Perform routine data quality checks and audits

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)

• Proven experience in data entry or administrative support (healthcare or home care experience is a plus)

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data management systems

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally

• Good organizational and time-management skills

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and billing processes is an advantage

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
