Job Title: Business Consultant
Location: Denver, Colorado
Position Duties:
The Business Consultant is responsible for leveraging business and strategy expertise to address complex client issues, primarily in the healthcare industry. The consultant undertakes client projects of varying size and complexity and collaborates closely with clients to design and deliver solutions to intricate business challenges. The consultant provides strategic guidance, performs detailed analyses, and makes fact-based recommendations to enhance business performance. The consultant is well-versed in the Technology Transformation practice area, able to combine robust business acumen as well as strong technical expertise to solve challenging organizational problems and manage complex technology projects at scale, generating tangible value and results for clients.
Duties include:
- Act as a trusted adviser to client sponsors and stakeholders at all levels
- Collaborate with clients to define business problems and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and propose strategic solutions that align with critical business objectives
- Work with executive sponsor(s) to communicate the strategic vision and approach to relevant stakeholders
- Lead medium and large-scale client initiatives focused on process, people, and technology transformation
- Guide and manage project teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic roadblocks and issues
- Ensure the successful delivery of client engagements and associated strategic deliverables
Domestic travel is possible, up to 5% of the time.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management or a related field
- 4 years of experience as management consultant or similar position
- Prior Experience to include the following: Experience with large and small projects within the Technology Transformation practice area, including technology strategy, cloud transformation, DevOps/DevSecOps and software implementation projects
- Experience working with North American consulting clients in regulated industries (such as healthcare, banking, insurance, etc.)
- Experience managing business projects and teams, including teams across time zones and across both technical and non-technical organizational areas (such as finance, IT, HR, sales, corporate strategy)
- Experience consulting within the healthcare industry
- Relevant industry-recognized certification regarding project management and process improvement methodologies (ex., Scaled Agile (SAFe), Lean Six Sigma (LSS), etc.)
- Industry-recognized Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) certifications
- Professional experience applying project management, business analysis, change management, and process improvement methodologies in business settings
