Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and 3+ years of experience in commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, servicing, and troubleshooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on commercial properties.

Equipment types that will be worked on include:

Cooling tower service, Central Plant Service, Chillers, Chilled water pumps, ductless systems, 10-50 ton units, built up systems and various commercial building systems. Experience working with central plants and chilled water systems is a big benefit.

This is not a seasonal position; it is permanent and full-time. Wage will be based on experience and discussed during the interview. Applicant must have a clean AZ Driver's license and be drug free.

Skyline Mechanical takes pride in the work and services we provide to our clients. Applicants need to share the same belief. We will provide training in house on any applications you may not be familiar with. Many of our existing service team have been with us for over 15 years.

General Responsibilities

• Service HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning HVAC systems, identifying issues related to mechanical components.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a commercial HVAC Service Technician role in the heating and cooling industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems effectively.
• Ability to perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC installations.
• Proficiency in plumbing, welding, and refrigerating techniques is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
