Job Description

Tax Administrator/Compliance Support


The Tax Administrator/Compliance Support will be responsible for supporting the Tax Group for
internal administration, managing, and directing the distribution of various invoices, notices and
related correspondence, processing payment for and/or mailing of a variety of tax filings, as well as
supporting the income tax groups in related research or other compliance filings.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure internal administration requirements are fulfilled for the Tax department.
  • Prepare Resale Exemption Certificates and IRS Form W-9s for vendors and suppliers.
  • File Sales and Use Tax Registrations and Tax Clearances with the State Department of Revenue.
  • Complete business license returns and other local filings.
  • Contact business operations and/or suppliers to obtain invoice copies needed for the audit.
  • Receive and distribute communications; collect and mail correspondence; copy and store
    important documents and records.
  • Interact with various corporate, field, and vendor personnel to provide necessary documentation
    including but not limited to examples of and/or resale certificates, sales invoices, vendor invoices,
    personal property tax, escheat, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, related experience helpful but not necessary.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, bringing
  • projects to completion independently.
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and must be capable of working under
    pressure with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of various systems or keen ability to quickly learn new systems in order to
    work in multiple diverse roles.
  • An understanding of basic accounting or payable skills is helpful.
