Pinch a Penny is a family owned company located in the Cypress area. We are looking for an experienced  swimming pool repair technician to add to our team. Primary responsibilities will be to diagnose and repair all kinds of problems on swimming pools and equipment. We are looking for someone that is smart, motivated, self starter, and customer service oriented. Must have  extensive repair skills in the  swimming pool industry ;  proficient in repairing filters, pumps, plumbing, heaters, control systems, and other swimming pool equipment. We are looking for someone with  at least 2 years experience in repairs in the pool industry .

Responsibilities & Job Requirements:

• Troubleshoot, repair, or install new pool equipment such as filters, pumps, motors, automatic controllers and heaters.
• Diagnose technical problems or errors and determine proper solutions.
• Perform necessary repairs or replacements on pool equipment, such as motors, valves, filters, and pool lights etc.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs, documenting parts used, and labor performed.
• Proven experience as a pool repair technician.
• Strong knowledge of pool equipment, including pumps, chlorination & salt systems, filters, heaters, automation systems, electrical and plumbing.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex pool equipment issues while on site.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple repair tasks.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment when required.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications:

• Must be fluent in English
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record
• Willing to undergo a background check
• Minimum 2 year pool repair experience!
• Must reliable transportation to and from work
• Company work truck provided for work
• Able to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain etc)
