Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to determine data needs, document requirements, and support engineering partners. This role involves metadata registration, data governance, and configuring data quality rules. The candidate will also coordinate ETL pipeline testing and validate results. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Python and SQL are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead meetings with internal customers to determine data needs.
• Map and document requirements to support engineering partners.
• Perform metadata registration and data governance activities.
• Configure data quality rules and conduct testing.
• Coordinate ETL pipeline testing across multiple areas and validate results.
• Collaborate with legacy business data engineers to identify required data for tasks.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools to support business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in configuring and testing data quality rules.
• Ability to coordinate and validate ETL pipeline testing.
• Experience in building dashboards and reporting tools.
• Must be able to work onsite in Richmond, VA, or McLean, VA in a hybrid capacity.

Pay Range: $60 - $70

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
