The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse operations within a food manufacturing facility ensuring that raw materials and finished goods are properly received stored and distributed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards. This position leads a team of warehouse associates promotes a culture of safety and quality and ensures efficient inventory and material flow to support production schedules.
Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving storage staging and shipping of food products and ingredients.
Ensure compliance with GMPs HACCP and all food safety and quality standards.
Train and lead warehouse associates in safe work practices GMP compliance and proper material handling.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support regular cycle counts and audits.
Monitor and enforce cleanliness sanitation and pest control within warehouse areas.
Coordinate with Production Quality Assurance and Purchasing to ensure timely supply of raw materials and packaging.
Verify and document incoming shipments ensuring materials meet quality and labeling requirements.
Operate and oversee use of forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment in a safe and compliant manner.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency safety and compliance.
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical training preferred.
2 years of experience in warehouse operations within a food manufacturing or processing environment.
Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of GMPs food safety and sanitation requirements.
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Forklift certification preferred.
Full-time; schedule may include early mornings evenings or weekends as needed to support production.
