Job Description

Eminent Software Services LLC in East Windsor, CT is seeking experienced Sr. Software Developers to assist Project Managers with design, development, analysis, and testing of software applications. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of information technology principles and concepts, as well as experience with SDLC, OLAP and Integration Frameworks, to perform the duties of the position.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

• Assist Project Manager in analyzing, designing, coding, and unit testing of applications using OLAP, .Net and Bigdata based technologies.
• Participate in all phases of software development life cycle and work on continuous integrations.
• Design and develop integration applications from end to end.
• Assist test teams to identify and correct defects in applications.
• Write SQL programs and queries to run customized reports and analyze corresponding data.
• Act as a technical lead to mentor junior level software developers.
• May perform other duties normally associated with the occupation.

This position does not directly supervise or manage any other employees.

REQUIREMENTS:: Master's Degree in Computer Science or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field of study, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s).

In lieu of the above stated primary academic and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s).

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, knowledge, skill, and experience with the following:

• 1. SOA
• 2. Shell Scripting
• 3. Quality Center
• 4. One or more of the following BI reporting tools: Microstrategy, SSRS, Tableau or Hadoop
• 5. One or more of the following ETL Tools: Informatica or SSIS; and
• 6. One or more of the following database management system software: Teradata, Oracle, SQL server or DB2.

No travel; no telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated client sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
