Senior Performance Analyst I 128611 Zurich North America is seeking an intellectually curios Claims Finance Consultant to join our Claims Finance team! The ideal candidate can work in one of our claims offices Addison, Atlanta, Dallas, Maitland, Omaha, Overland Park, Owings Mills, Parsippany, Rocky Hill, Schaumburg, Woodland Hills, or remotely. Preference for this individual to work out of our Schaumburg, IL location, but willing to consider candidates at other Zurich office locations in the U.S.. The Claims Finance Consultant is responsible for the creation of key financial presentations and models to support strategic and operational initiatives. While executing on multiple assigned projects the individual will develop key relationships with senior leadership and become a trusted partner. In this role you will be responsible for: + Communicating complex financial information and insights to business partners across multiple functions. + Prepare key messages, reports and financial analyses to deliver insights to management teams. + Supporting the planning and forecasting process and collaborating with business unit leadership to explain changes and impacts. + Providing advanced financial analysis and modeling. + Monitor/review business progress relative to business/operational plans. + Evaluate key projects/initiatives to determine if key deliverables are being met. + Propose potential new initiatives or areas for improvement. + Draw connections and insights across multiple projects / parts of the organization to ensure continuity of organization-wide initiatives. + Identifying gaps in analysis and additional analyses that should be conducted. + Apply industry knowledge to own work and bring knowledge to bear with other analysts. + Developing written communications that convey analyses and insights in a cohesive story. + Defining data requirements and identifying appropriate sources. + Build rapport with stakeholders/senior executives and tell a compelling story of results + Participating in training and development of new hires. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance areaOR + High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance areaOR + Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area Preferred Qualifications: + Insurance industry experience + Financial analysis/modeling experience + Experience with SQL or related + Data visualization experience in PBI or related + Project management experience + Strong Microsoft Office experience + Strong verbal and written communication skills Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases.
