Job Description As a Senior Lighting Artist , you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing lighting systems that bring depth, atmosphere, and emotion to our game environments. You’ll work closely with the Art Director, Environment Artists, VFX Artists, and Technical Art team to ensure a cohesive and visually stunning experience. What you'll do Create high-quality lighting setups for both realistic and stylized real-time environments Define the visual tone and atmosphere of game scenes through lighting that supports storytelling and gameplay Work with technical artists to implement performant and visually compelling lighting solutions in-engine (Unreal) Light characters and cinematics to maximize emotional and narrative impact Provide feedback, guidance, and mentorship to mid-level and junior lighting artists Optimize lighting for performance across multiple platforms without sacrificing visual fidelity Contribute to the evolution of the lighting pipeline, tools, and best practices. What you'll bring A deep understanding of how light shapes visual storytelling and player experience. Proven experience in real-time lighting for AAA games or high-end indie projects A standout portfolio demonstrating your mastery in lighting environments, characters, and cinematics Strong technical knowledge in light baking, post-processing, real-time rendering, and performance optimization A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to guide and inspire fellow artists Passion for pushing visual quality and atmosphere to new heights through lighting design.
