Full Job Description :
The Pilot Plant Operator, under general supervision, is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Pilot Plant machinery. Responsibilities include a wide variety of assignments as scheduled by immediate supervisor including but not limited to ingredient and component preparation, blending, filling and closing, cooking, packaging, and any other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Duties:
• Operates pilot plant equipment to produce product within guidelines established by Quality Assurance and to the highest possible standard of quality
• Operates, shuts down, cleans, and sanitizes equipment in the pilot plant in accordance with established procedures and follows sanitation procedures specific to chemical handling
• Performs and records operational, quality, and CIP checks to ensure food safety and quality expectations are met
• Communicates and/or escalates quality or safety issues

Education Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Open to all educational backgrounds

Experience Requirements:
• 2 years preferred
• Open to recent high school graduates
• Training provided regardless of experience level
• Labor-intensive role
• Must be comfortable operating forklifts and powered industrial equipment
