Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at McKesson. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
Medication Dispensing:
Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.
Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity; opening large quantities of
bottles and cases of product.
Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.
Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.
Inventory Management:
Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.
Compliance and Regulations:
Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
? Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
? High School Diploma or equivalent
? Previous pharmacy experience
? Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line.
? Able to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor.
? Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift.
? Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
