Jovie Seattle, WA, USA Summary: A bit about us : We are an active, and curious family living in Seattle, and we love Jesus in this house! We’re looking for a loving, reliable, and professional nanny to join our household and provide care for our two young boys. We have two young boys (3yo and soon to be 1yo), and two older daughters (8yo and 5yo). Our mornings are focused on helping our children get ready for the day and school. Mom will be present to join in hikes, outdoor exploration, and active play with the children, and the nanny will support these activities as well as manage household tasks. We value learning, reading, and exploring the world and we love to be outside rain or shine. Our ideal nanny will grow with our family, support our home, and actively participate in daily adventures alongside us.
A bit about you : You are kind, loving, and protective, with a strong sense of responsibility and trustworthiness. You are attentive and focused while caring for children and managing household tasks, and you communicate clearly and consistently. You enjoy outdoor adventures, have a love for learning and books, and are eager to help children explore, create, and expend energy in active play. You are professional, dependable, and able to support a busy household while respecting our family’s privacy and values.
Job Duties : This role blends childcare with household support. Responsibilities include caring for our two young boys during the morning and early afternoon, meal preparation, light housework, laundry, grocery shopping, and assisting with scheduling and managing family appointments. The ideal candidate will join our outdoor adventures when possible, engage children in reading and creative play, and help maintain a clean and organized home environment. Qualifications :
- Minimum 2+ years of professional childcare experience
- Ability to manage young children in active, outdoor settings
- Strong collaboration, communication, reliability, and organizational skills
- Trustworthy and able to maintain privacy and confidentiality
- Glowing references from recent nanny positions
- Comfortable with meal preparation, light household tasks, and errands
Set yourself apart : Experience with outdoor exploration, hiking, and active play. Passion for children’s education, reading, and creative activities. Familiarity with faith-centered households.
Schedule: 3-5 days a week. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM, flexible with days depending on family and candidate availability
Pay: $30-38

Working Conditions and Requirements: - Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes clean up of activities
- Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active play
- Essential Physical Requirements:
- Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
- Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
- Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations
- May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner
