Schedule: Monday - Thursday 2:45pm-6:00pm
Pay: $16.00/hour
Start Date: ASAP
About the Family: Reliability is key for this role! A spectacular Kirkwood family is seeking a responsible after school sitter for two children ages 3 & 5. Sitter would pick up children from school and transport less than a mile home so a clear driving record is a must. Children are used to having sitters after school. They look forward to crafts, coloring and games and get along well together. Family has two dogs and sitter would be asked to let them in/out while there, but no other petcare is requested. Sitter should be patient, kind and reliable. Monday - Thursday shifts of 2:45pm-6:00pm would allow you your mornings and late evenings off.
About the Role: Direct Care - Engaging with children and constant supervision of child with special needs, age appropriate games and playing; diaper/pull up changes for one child with special needs
Safety - Ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care
Meal Prep - Put together snacks for children as well as prepare dinner for family
Light Clean-up - Restore the kitchen and play areas after food and fun (with age-appropriate assistance from the kids); light household cleaning
Depth - Get to know a family and develop a relationship with the kids and parents over time
Qualifications/Requirements: Must be 18 years or older, have a valid drivers license with regular access to a vehicle and ability to transport children in said vehicle as needed, and consent to a background screening.
