Full-Time Medical Adult Day Care (MADC) Caregiver

DUTIES:

The following is a list of services that MADC Caregiver may routinely perform; however, it is not exclusive of other reasonable requests.

Assists participants with the following:

• Personal care, including dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Use of special aids.
• Accident preventions.
• Activities of daily living.
• Monitors and supervises participants.
• Assists participants at mealtime, including feeding participants as needed.
• Assists and encourage activity involvement and provide individualized activities as needed.
• Works in Homecare Caregiving as assigned.
• Other job duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 10th grade education; High school graduate or High School graduate or GED, preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year full-time or part-time paid or volunteer experience working with adults in a health care or social service setting, required.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must have dependable transportation.
