The Company :

Our Nashville Client serves commercial and light industrial clients in a number of different industry segments with their most trusted industrial developments in a multitude of markets.

Brief Snapshot of Requirements:

Commercial addition/remodel/TI projects.

Mostly commercial/industrial project base.

Must have 3-5+ years or more of PM construction experience. 

Bachelors degree required
Construction PM experience required (not consider IT industry)
No required software experience- open to all formats as training will be provided. 
Local candidates only - will not compensate for relocation.

Position Details:

The Assistant Project Manager will work with the Senior PM on the entire construction process from Preconstruction through final completion. The APM works with the estimator’s and is responsible for the financial success of the project from beginning to completion. The APM is one of the points of contact for the owner during this time period and coordinates with the PM for client satisfaction. 

Additional Attributes:

  • Recognize the main objective for each project is that its success is measured by client satisfaction, budget maintenance, profitability, and schedule adherence.
  • Must have a track-record for commercial or industrial construction projects .
  • Some proficiency in writing scopes of work into subcontract exhibits.
  • Ability to create a CPM schedule and modify it according to the needs of the project.
  • Understands the fundamentals of scheduling to provide assistance to project staff.
  • Able to travel occasionally to visit clients & jobsites.
  • Able to progress the project schedule with all of the players involved including company team members, Subcontractors, Owners, Owner Representatives and designers.
  • Background checks are a required part of our hiring process.
