Responsibilities For Assembly Technician
Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components with precision and consistency
Install PEM hardware, rivets, and other fasteners per engineering drawings and specifications
Perform hand and pneumatic riveting, including flush and blind rivets
Complete basic to complex cable assemblies using crimping, stripping, and soldering techniques
Read and interpret CAD files, blueprints, and assembly instructions
Use calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools to verify proper fit and function
Ensure assemblies meet cosmetic and dimensional quality standards
Maintain accurate build records and update traveler documentation
Work collaboratively with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications for Assembly Technician
Proven experience as an assembly technician in a precision manufacturing environment
Familiarity with PEM hardware installation, riveting techniques, and cable assembly best practices
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD prints
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Comfortable using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring equipment
Experience with ERP systems such as JobBoss (preferred)
Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Able to follow instructions with minimal supervision
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Quarterly Bonus (after successful completion of 90-day probationary period)
