
My Journey
Santa Mishra was born in Ukhai West Siwan Bihar in a middle-class family of Triloki Nath Mishra and Smt Sonamati Devi.
Since childhood, he has been very close to his grandfather Shree Raghav Mishra, a very well-known Katha Vachak and priest. Santa Mishra has been greatly influenced by his grandfather’s teachings, and he always refers him as his role model. Almost every day he would visit Brahmchari Baba ashram located in his village and ponder life and how materialism has shaped the world. Santa Mishra did his early school from Siwan. He attended Primary School in his village and graduated High School from VMHE Siwan Bihar. He attended DPR College Siwan for 10+2. He always has been an exceptional student, earning distinction in many subjects in High and Intermediate class, including 98% in Math.Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU)
He was admitted in JNU New Delhi in year 1997, and thus moved from Siwan to New Delhi. JNU gave him a platform to fulfill his desires and shaped his thinking on a broader scale. He would sit many hours and read biographies of great thinkers in the library and participated in numerous debates and discussions. He became very much involved in Student Politics where Vivekanand was his ideal and contributed extensively for the success of rightist thoughts. During his tenure, ABVP won the coveted JNU Student Union Presidentship for the first time in history.
Delhi School of Economics
After graduating from JNU, Santa Mishra moved to Delhi University where he completed his Master’s Program from Delhi School of Economics. There he met both ultra-rich students and students of humble backgrounds. At that juncture, he decided to work for the marginalized section of the society believing that all should have equal access to education.USA
After completing his Master’s Program, Santa Mishra wanted to get international exposure and spread global ideas and thoughts in developing countries. Subsequently, he was selected to the University of Hartford Barney School of Business CT USA which is one of the best MBA School accredited by AACSB. There he interacted with students from Africa to Asia and Europe to America which enriched his vision. Currently Santa Mishra is working as a Management Consultant in Washington DC and has focused on several charitable organizations in Bihar India and often visits to monitor the projects and interact with local people. He is significantly involved in Indian and American Politics in the USA. He has played an important role in bringing India and the USA together and he always promotes the concept that India being the largest democracy and the USA being the oldest democracy should work together in common interests.
